Games We Think Are Cool
Resident Evil 2, and the RE series in general, never appealed to me as I don't much care for survival horror. But hoo boy did I love this latest remake! The gameplay was rock solid, it wasn't terribly spooky (whew) and it had a pretty good story. Just finished my first run as Leon, can't wait to try out the others!
Santorini is a 2-player tabletop game that is really unlike anything I've played. While the base game itself is solid, it takes on a whole new dimension when you play with the included "God Cards" that give you powers and abilities. It really transforms the game into one of my all time favorites.
Exapunks takes another genre I previously had not much interest in (programming for fun) and makes it engaging and incredibly fun. It's not for everyone, but I liked it so much I wrote a review.
These are games we enjoy or think are awesome, and are NOT paid advertisements or referrals in any way.
