Version 2.5 Details
Originally a smaller update, I've ended up skipping v2.1 altogether to create version 2.5, which has a host of improvements and fixes! This build is mainly focused on getting the game ready for PS4 certification, and there were some key areas I wanted to improve upon before submission. Below are a few of those new features you'll be getting this month!
Designer 3.0
New to the designer is the snap-to-grid toggle for easier placement, improved gamepad support, and all new unlocked objects straight from some of your favorite restaurants in Teragon Tower!
Gamepad Improvements
Steam Controller and Nintendo Joycon button mapping support has been added to this update! A lot of gamepad improvements have also been added, such as using the analog stick in menus, improved response times, and lots more.
New Emails & QoL Additions
50+ new emails have been added, including bonus money emails that give you random funds when opened! Some new Quality of Life improvements have been made across the board, such as a new hint menu and some level balances/achievement fixes.
PS4 Update
This last month I've been adding all the trophies into the game (46 in total) and exporting builds to test them out on dev and test kits. There's some interesting changes going from PC to console- you have to think about how saves are handled, for one thing (instead of saving it all variables at once I have to split it apart to keep load times down). Playing on a big screen with a controller is certainly a different experience.
It's all kinds of exciting and new, and my initial plan was to get it into cert by September but perhaps I can get it done earlier than that...we'll have to see how these next few weeks go!

Games We Think Are Cool
I have been playing a lot of the Surge lately, as I'm working my way through the ol' backlog. It's a ton of fun! But I'm surprised at the fairly low scores the game has gotten in both the media and Steam reviews. I'm about ~5 hours in so we'll see how it holds up as I get further in.
San Francisco Rush has the best music ever made for the name entry screen.
No seriously, this isn't up for debate.
WarioWare Gold launches this month for the 3DS! This is one of my all time favorite series and honestly CSD has a lot of direct inspirations from it in terms of gameplay and humor. I got out my ol' 3DS to charge it and fell into a Picross 3D hole so yeah, my 3DS is gettin' a lot of lovin' lately.
These are games we enjoy or think are awesome, and are not paid advertisements or referrals in any way.
